Privacy choice and Stay22 LMA
On eligible English editorial pages, the site loads Stay22 Link Monetization Automation (LMA) immediately and independently of the choice shown in the privacy dialog. That choice is stored in a host-only first-party cookie for up to 180 days, but it does not control LMA. Choosing “Essential only” therefore does not disable LMA. German-language pages currently do not load the LMA script at all.
When an eligible page opens, the browser requests Stay22’s LMA script. Stay22 may process ordinary request, page, device, link-interaction, and attribution data and may use cookies or browser storage under its own privacy policy. The temporary Germany experiment does not run LMA on hotel Map pages, existing Booking.com/Agoda/Booking.com Cars, GetYourGuide or Viator affiliate routes, the Dachau Memorial page, or trust, legal, editorial-methodology, noindex, 404, and machine-readable routes.
Stay22 hotel Maps are a separate click-to-load feature. Opening a Map does not change the privacy choice, and LMA does not preload a Map.
